Dear All

Welcome to the April/May issue of PACE which finds all the Northern Hemisphere runners starting to enjoy the light nights and train outside, whilst all of you in the Southern Hemisphere will be giving up on those early morning runs and retreating to the gym – or maybe not for the more hardy among us?

We're always on the look out for inspiring features, so if you know any person or charity that's responsible for motivating you, please get in touch (click here).

Thank you for continuing to read PACE magazine and if you've any Handy Hints, tips or interesting articles you'd like featured, feel free to contact us (click here).

Happy Training.

It was not his first Bath Half Marathon but it was a first apparently trapped in a cage carried by a giant ape. Mike Pakeman and his mates ran to raise money for the Royal Marines Charitable Trust Fund. Spectators were encouraged to donate GBP10 for injured Royal Marines and to help release Mike from his cage. Fancy dress is an increasingly popular feature of this event.
