Canada’s easiest run is coming back! Run right down the middle of Canada’s most famous street, the Toronto Yonge Street 10km promises a good time - but not a long time - for runners of all ability.

The Yonge St 10K is the latest in a long, continuing line of Spring 10km events in Toronto dating back to the late 1970s.

The fast, downhill nature of the event serves as a major attraction to beginner runners looking for a friendly first event as well as seasoned veteran runners looking to set a new personal best.

The good time does not end at the finish line however, as there is a fantastic post–race party held at Garrison Commons Park. Here participants will have plenty of time to cool down, relax and have a great time with supporters and fellow participants while enjoying the entertainment around them.

The Yonge Street 10K is part of the Canada Running Series. Offering several events of varying distances between March and October, the series culminates in the popular Scotiabank Toronto Waterfront Marathon.

Whether you’re preparing for your first 10km or looking for an exciting build up event for a larger distance, the Toronto Yonge Street

10km is a great option!

The event offers full marathon, relay marathon, half marathon, 10km run and walk, 20km wheelchair, 5km women’s and several junior events. This wide selection means everyone has the chance to get involved in something on a really special race weekend.

The marathon course is a splendid combination of magnificent countryside, beautiful landmarks including the famous water jet and flower clock, historical areas and the city’s cosmopolitan area. The final portion of the course takes runners alongside gorgeous Lake Geneva before finally reaching the finish line at the Pont du Mont–Blanc.

Organisers are determined to make Geneva Marathon one of Europe’s premier running events, and are therefore taking all the steps necessary to elevate it to elite status.

A high standard event in an amazing city; there seems to be every reason to get there in May for the fast growing Geneva Marathon.
