The United States is set to host another World Championships, and now you can compete in this special event -- there's no need to qualify! Registration is open for the Open Age-Group Sprint Race, to be held Saturday, September 19, 2015 as part of the 2015 ITU World Triathlon Grand Final Chicago

Reserve your spot today to be one of only 2,500 participants competing on the same stage as the best international elite and age-group triathletes in Chicago's Grant Park, with World Championship events scheduled from September 15th to 20th. Don't delay - this one-of-a-kind event promises to sell out.

Registration is open to all athletes ages 15 and older, and no qualification is necessary. Registration for the sprint race is $150, and $220 for the sprint relay.

If you have qualified for the ITU Standard (Olympic-distance) or Sprint World Championships, you will be contacted directly to register for those races. Those competing in the Standard World Championships are ineligible to participate in the Open Race per ITU rules. Athletes competing in only the Aquathlon World Championships and/or the Sprint World Championships may, however, participate in the Open Age-Group Race.
