The Ikano Robin Hood Marathon and Half Marathon returns to Nottingham on Sunday 27 September, but with an exciting new-look race course. The popular event provides the perfect opportunity for runners to join Robin Hood and his merry men on this picturesque course.

Over 15,000 half, full and mini marathon runners are expected to lace up and head to the start line, located just yards from the banks of the River Trent. Passing through some of Nottingham’s most iconic landmarks, before descending into the city centre, the course will be lined with thousands of roaring supporters.

Race Director, Nick Pearson says: “Last year we made some exciting changes to our race village; the feedback from the runners and their supporters was extremely positive and so this year we have taken even more comments on board to enhance the race course and runner experience. We’ve been working hard with Nottingham City Council to design a course ideal for beginners and seasoned runners chasing a new Personal Best. Don’t miss out on one of the most popular events in the City; we’ll look forward to seeing you at the start line on 27 September!”
