The Scotiabank Vancouver Half-Marathon and 5K is part of the prestigious Canada Running Series.

Known as Canada's most scenic half-marathon, more than 7,000 participants run past some of Vancouver’s most scenic vistas including cityscapes, mountain views and spectacular beaches before finishing in stunning Stanley Park.

Not only is the course beautiful, it is also fast with a net drop of almost 300ft. This is a half marathon in which you can seize your next personal best.

Not up for a half-marathon in 2015? The event also hosts a family-friendly 5k route which takes runners along the trails of Stanley Park and the seawall of English Bay, before merging with the Half-Marathon to finish.

The Scotiabank Vancouver Half-Marathon is currently the only race in Canada to have received a Silver Certification in sustainability from the Council for Responsible Sport. Last year saw more than 97% of waste diverted from landfills and alternative energy sources used. This has been part of the Canada Running Series mandate for all their races.

With spectacular views along a fast course combined with bands, water stations, great medals and a finish line party, The Scotiabank Vancouver Half-Marathon is set to be your best half-marathon yet!
