Mississauga Marathon is inviting all to #RunThisCity. The 13th annual two-day event attracts thousands to race across wonderfully scenic Mississauga, Ontario, Canada.

This Boston Qualifier offers a smooth, fast course with a net downhill of nearly 80 metres from start to finish.

The Mississauga Marathon includes a variety of distances for athletes of all levels to enjoy. Participants can choose from the 2KM Fun Run/Walk, Novo Nordisk® “Hazel” 5KM, MNP 10KM, 10KM Student Relay, Half Marathon, Sal Guzzo, LL.B. Relay Challenge and Full Marathon events. Traditionally, these events attract more than 10,000 participants.

The full marathon course starts at the Square One, and winds its way down scenic Mississauga Road, along the Lake Ontario Waterfront, before finishing at the stunning Lakefront Promenade Park.

Along the way, runners pass through areas of Mississauga like Clarkson, and pass the iconic Port Credit Lighthouse.

Showing off everything that Mississauga has to offer, and with “A Run for Everyone,” the Mississauga Marathon distinguishes itself as a can’t-miss weekend event in the Greater Toronto Area.

Mississauga Marathon has also announced a new program for 2016: the Race Weekend Warrior Challenge. Runners are challenged to compete in the Novo Nordisk® “Hazel” 5KM or the MNP 10KM on Saturday, April 30th, followed by competing in the Full Marathon or Half Marathon on Sunday, May 1st.

All Race Weekend Warriors will receive an additional prize.

All participants receive an official Mississauga Marathon t-shirt, a totally redesigned finisher’s medal, race bib, and a unique Swag Bag.
