Sweatshop is pleased to announce the return of the Ikano Robin Hood Full Marathon. On Sunday 29 September 2013, Nottingham will host a full line up of running events. Joining the Full Marathon will be a Half Marathon, a Mini Marathon (1.5 miles), a Schools Challenge and a Corporate Relay.


Vivienne Saunders, Communications Manager at Ikano, says: “We are really excited to welcome the Full Marathon back to Nottingham.  Adding this distance opens the event to a whole new running community.”




Organisers of the race, Sweatshop and Nottingham City Council, have worked together to confirm the run routes, making sure that the safety of all runners and spectators remains a priority whilst incorporating some of Nottinghamshire’s most iconic landmarks.


Nick Pearson, Managing Director of Sweatshop, says: “Nottingham City Council has worked incredibly hard to facilitate the return of the Full Marathon. Their support demonstrates an absolute commitment to bringing world class and community sporting events to the City of Nottingham.

Fantastic prize money is also up for grabs. In the Full Marathon, the first British man to finish in under 2 hours and 22 minutes and the first female to finish in under 2 hours and 46 minutes will each receive £500.


In the Half Marathon, the first British male to finish in under  66 minutes and to the first British female to finish in under 76 minutes will each receive £500.

Registration to the Ikano Robin Hood Full Marathon and Half Marathon is now open.
