The Hervis Prague Half Marathon (2 April 2011) gives runners the opportunity to discover Prague in a very different way. Ignore the souvenir shops and the tourist trails and run through the various different districts of the city, alongside the river Vltava. The race is being held on a Saturday morning, which gives you the rest of the weekend for sightseeing. It starts and finishes in the historic centre of Prague, near the Jewish Quarter.
The Volkswagen Prague Marathon (8 May 2011) has been recognised as one of the most beautiful marathon tracks in the world.
If you like the idea of getting away from the well trodden paths, running alongside a river and getting lost in the narrow streets of one of Europe’s most beautiful capital cities, this race is for you. The race starts and finishes on the famous Old Town Square and will take you through different districts of Prague along the way.
