ICAN Triathlon has now three Premium Quality events open for 2014:
-Half ICAN Málaga (Spain) - April 27th
-Half ICAN Nordhausen (Germany) - August 24th
-Half ICAN Sevilla (Spain) - October 5th
The company will soon be announcing new venues in both Half and Full distance.
Málaga will open the season in April, with an event that started in 2011 and will be enjoying its fourth event in 2014. With nice weather at this time of the year, over 1000 participants will start the swim segment in La Malagueta beach, with transitions and finish line in the brand new seaport. The bike and run courses are flat and are parallel with the Mediterranean Sea.
Nordhausen is a beautiful German city at the feet of Harz Mountains, full of parks and monuments and surrounded by beautiful lakes. One of them, Sundhausen Lake, will host the start of the race on August 24th, as it did in 2013, the first release of this ICAN event. Race director Ulrich Konschak, one of the most experienced German triathletes, has designed nice bike and run courses, finishing downtown at the Theatre Square.
With an average temperature of 25 ºC, October is one of the best months to visit Sevilla, one of the most beautiful cities in Europe. The event premiere will see the beginning of the swim segment in Guadalquivir River, starting and finishing close to the famous Torre del Oro. Bike and run courses are flat and go across the centre of the town.
All ICAN races include airport transfer service, Pasta Party, Family Lounge, backpack, accommodation offers, medal and shirt for Finishers, bike covers, nursery school, official photo service (supplied by www.marthon-photos.com) , the best aid stations, medical assistance and all the possible options for the triathletes to completely enjoy their participation in the event.
