Entries have opened for the Canada Running Series’ first event of 2017 – the Race Roster Spring Run Off, in Toronto.
Choose from 8k or 5k distances.
The 8k starts at the civilised time of 10am and is a loop over the scenic, traffic-free, paved roads of High Park, starting on Colborne Lodge Drive, between the Schoolhouse and the Grenadier Café.
The Race Roster Spring Run-off is a beautiful run through High Park; however the narrow roads and pathways make the course suitable for runners and walkers only.
For the safety of all participants, baby backpacks, skateboards, roller blades, Kangoo Jump shoes, animals and unauthorized bicycles and wheeled devices are not permitted in the race.
Nordic Pole participants are welcome.
Baby Strollers are welcome in the 5k event only.
The 5k starts on West Road, curves around Grenadier Café, north on Colborne Lodge Drive, west on West road, moves onto the path towards Grenadier Pond and follows the 8k route for the remainder of the course. It’s ideal for casual walkers and joggers, as well as serious competitors.
