Swim, bike, run. The multisport challenge called triathlon is recognised as one of the world’s fastest growing sports since making its Olympic debut at Sydney 2000.

The first recorded triathlon was in 1974, in California. It was organised by the San Diego Track and Field Club as an alternative to the rigours of track training for athletes.

Its tidy combination of sporting codes makes it perfect for either individuals or teams – and the huge variety of distances mean there is a triathlon for everyone from beginner to elite athlete. Choose anything from novice/enticer, through Sprint or Olympic distances right up to the full 3.8km swim, 180km bike and 42km marathon run.

You should be here - sharing the joy of achievement with 52,000 other participants at Singapore Marathon. The event regularly sells out soon after entries open.
