The Brighton Marathon Weekend is an all-embracing three day running event in one of Britain’s most cosmopolitan cities, comprising an Exhibition, Mini Mile Races and culminating on Sunday in a 10km before the main event, the Marathon, plays out before massed crowds on Brighton’s sea front.

Since its inauguration in 2010, the Marathon has dramatically developed with course bests for the men and women well under 2h:10 and 2h:29 respectively, making it the second fastest Marathon in the UK.

Last year the super-fast BM10K was added to the organiser's portfolio and immediately stamped its importance on the rankings with the second fastest time in the country for 2014.

At the Marathon finish, the unique Beach Village will welcome spectators and competitors alike as they relax on deck chairs in front of big screens watching the action unfold while taking advantage of the food and drink on offer.

Friday sees the opening of the Brighton Marathon Exhibition, housing a range of exclusive sporting brands, health food products, massage, seminars and an early bird sign-up for 2016.

On Saturday the younger generation gets its chance to shine in the Mini Mile Races. Over 3000 youngsters between the ages of seven and 17 are expected to charge round the one mile course to the accompaniment of a big screen commentary and variety of entertainment.

Over an exciting three days in April, the city of Brighton and Hove plays host to one of the UK’s most popular running events, the unmissable Brighton Marathon Weekend.
