Chris Robb organised his first event at 16 – a fun run to raise funds for his school’s athletics track.

The thrill of the experience never left him and now, 30 years on, Chris heads Spectrum Worldwide, a leading mass participation event management and marketing company in the Asia Pacific region. The success of Singapore Marathon is his responsibility.

Chris has had organising roles in Comrades Marathon (South Africa) and the Sydney 2000 Olympics. He has now been involved with events totalling more than a million participants across four continents.

That experience has led to Chris Robb’s recently-published book, Mass Participation Sports Events. It’s the perfect event organiser’s bible. Learn what it takes to close city roads, attract participants and sponsors, recruit volunteers and deal with crises.
