Since it launched its flagship Leeds 10k back in 2007, Jane Tomlinson's Run For All has established itself as the team behind the best-loved 10k series in the North of England.

Now hosting hugely-popular 10ks in Leeds, York, Hull and across the Pennines in Burnley, Lancashire, Run For All is renowned as the events organisation all others aspire to.  This year alone an estimated 20,000 runners will take part in the four 10k runs, travelling from across the UK to soak up the unique atmosphere of its city and town centre routes.

The Leeds 10k, now in its seventh year, continues to be a major success story. It was launched by the late fundraiser and campaigner Jane Tomlinson CBE just months before her untimely death from cancer aged just 43.  Today her legacy lives on in that run and the three other 10ks which have since been added to the Run For All portfolio.

Since their inception, the 10ks have raised hundreds of thousands of pounds for a variety of good causes. But they also continue to attract seasoned and club runners who relish the challenge of notching up a personal best.

This year's Leeds 10k on 14th July is set to attract a field of up to 10,000 runners alone – with the city centre route taking in some of Yorkshire's unofficial capital's much loved landmarks.

The York 10k on 4th August is arguably the most beautiful 10k in England as its scenic route takes runners right through the heart of this medieval city.

The Hull 10k on 19th May turns the East Yorkshire city into an annual sea of colour. Its fantastic route takes in the pretty marina and The Deep.

This year will see the first Pennine-Lancashire run through Burnley town centre on 2nd June.

Its well-thought out course takes runners past the historic Mechanics Institute and beautiful Towneley Hall and on to Burnley FC's Turf Moor Stadium.

All runners in each of the four 10ks receive a quality hi-tech running shirt as well as a finishers' medal.

With entertainment and plenty of water and Lucozade Sport Lite around the route, each 10k has all the ingredients to give runners a great day out.

Entries for all four runs are open now. With places expected to sell fast, runners are urged to register quickly to safeguard their spot on the starting line.
