On Monday 6th May 2013 the Deep RiverRock Belfast City Marathon celebrates its 32nd year!!

The Deep RiverRock Belfast City Marathon is the largest sporting participatory event in Northern Ireland bringing participants from all areas of the globe to the streets of the Belfast.

The participation numbers reached record levels again in 2012 with over 20,600 people taking part in the cocktail of events (Marathon 3,600 entrants, Relay 2,300 teams, Walk 2,200 entrants and Fun Run 2,200 entrants). The level of participation has virtually doubled in the last 5 years and with your help we can make the 2013 Deep RiverRock Belfast City Marathon even bigger and better

The Deep RiverRock Belfast City Marathon is proud to work with sponsors such as Translink, Daily Mirror, Saucony, Podium 4 Sport, U105, Tayto, Athletics Northern Ireland, Sport Northern Ireland and Belfast City Council.

To build on this past record of success and to celebrate its 32nd year, the organisers have developed a number of innovations for 2013 to ensure that even more people are attracted to take part and support The Deep RiverRock Belfast City Marathon, whether it be taking part in one of the events, volunteering or just enjoying a fun day out.  The innovations include a new range of Official Saucony Merchandise, bonus prizes for the first male and female to break current record times set in 2012, a bigger and more exciting expo and family

fun day.

The three day International Expo in the lead up to race day will begin on Friday 3rd May at the iconic Belfast City Hall, which is also the start line for all Deep RiverRock Belfast City Marathon Events.  The excitement and fun continues at the finish line at Ormeau Park on 6th May where there will be a Family Fun Day with music, great food and plenty of cause for celebration.

Entries are now available, with a final cut-off point for entries on the 19th April 2013. No entries will be accepted after this date.
