The Prudential RideLondon festival of cycling returned in spectacular style as more than 95,000 cyclists of all ages and abilities enjoyed riding the traffic-free roads of London and Surrey in five different events over the weekend of 1-2 August.

The weekend began as some 70,000 families, friends and fun-seeking pedallers poured on to the closed roads of central London for the Prudential RideLondon FreeCycle to enjoy the new route and six Festival Zones packed with every imaginable type of bike-based entertainment.

Club cyclists, celebrities and amateur riders of all varieties many riding to raise funds for charity - were among the 25,564 cyclists who completed the Prudential RideLondon-Surrey 100 sportive in glorious sunshine on the Sunday.
