Prom’Classic, the 1st 10 km of the year in France will take place next 10th January 2016 in Nice.


As it is the first race of the year in the running calendar, it marks the start of running competitions. It's the ideal opportunity to work off the excesses of the festive season.

As in the previous years, the runners will start from Promenade des Anglais in Nice and run on both seaside routes including a half turn face to Nice Côte d’Azur Airport. The start will take place at 10am precisely, on the north side to return on the south one every one-minute according their record times. 



The record for the race was set by the Moroccan Saïd TBIBI in 28:38:00’during the 2007 race. For the women, French athlete Christelle DAUNAY broke the record in 2013 in 32:26:00’.

As in previous years, KALENJI brand, official running supplier for Prom’Classic since 2013 will reveal the latest developments in their product news. This year, as in previous years, entries will be limited to 8,000 competitors.
